Will Outlook 2007 run on Windows 11?

Microsoft announced that some versions of the Microsoft Office Suite will not be supported in Windows 11. These versions include any versions of the Office Suite released on or before 2013, for example, Office 2010 and Office 2007.

Office 2007 reached end of support on October 10, 2017, which means Microsoft no longer provides technical support and security updates for it. We strongly recommend upgrading to Microsoft 365 as soon as possible.

The new Outlook app for Windows 11 now includes support for personal accounts. Although the first preview of its One Outlook (Project Monarch) app has been available for testers in the Beta Channel since May, it only included support for commercial customers with Microsoft 365 business and education accounts.

Both Microsoft 365 and Office 2021 run on Windows 11, Windows 10, and the three most recent versions of macOS. Note that Office 2013 won't be supported on Windows 11, so now is the right time to upgrade to Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 if you're planning to upgrade to Windows 11.
